Surrey Research Park and its thriving space community had a high-profile opportunity to take part in Farnborough International Space Show 2025 (FISS 25) last week.
Delivered in partnership with Space South Central – the UK’s largest regional space cluster – we hosted a dedicated innovation hub, providing a platform for Park-based companies to showcase pioneering technologies and connect with global representatives from across the space industry.
Over two dynamic days, we welcomed hundreds of delegates to our stand, shared Surrey Research Park’s evolving space story, and demonstrated how we continue to go ‘Beyond Space’ – offering much more than a prestigious address. From business incubation to sector-specific collaboration opportunities, we equip businesses with the tools to innovate, grow and scale.
As part of our commitment to enabling opportunity, all participating companies were supported to attend and exhibit in a prime location at FISS 25 at no cost, giving them access to new audiences, potential clients and future collaborators.
Our showcase cohort included:
- Morpheus Fluid Limited
- Venner Shipley
- JMatPro, Eseye
- Damia Group
- Vicinity Technologies Ltd,
- Actica Consulting
Together, these businesses represented expertise across fluid dynamics, IP protection, secure systems, advanced materials, and communications technology.
We were also pleased to be joined by participants from Space South Central’s Cosmic Capital investment-readiness programme, delivered at Surrey Research Park through SETsquared Surrey. These included: Satraka, GeoTourist, Astro Dynamic, Stars Edge, and Eureco. Read more about the startups here.
From early-stage innovators to well-established providers, every business benefited from meaningful conversations, new connections, and the chance to amplify their impact in the wider space ecosystem.
FISS 25 proved a valuable reminder of the power of collaboration – and the strength of our growing space cluster here in Guildford.
