Free Meeting and Event Venue for UK Space Companies at Surrey Research Park

Are you part of a space company operating in the south or southeast of England? Then the Space Enterprise Lab at Surrey Research Park is available for you to book and use for free!

Located inside the Surrey Technology Centre, the versatile 20-seater (board configuration) venue is part of the Satellite Applications Catapult’s national network of 14 Space Enterprise Labs. Its purpose is to accelerate innovation in satellite applications, space communications and non-terrestrial networks.

Solving space sector collaboration challenges

Space companies often face barriers when trying to access professional, well-connected venues for meetings, hybrid events or collaborative sessions. The Enterprise Space Lab solves this by offering a , high-quality, fully equipped venue supporting both in-person and virtual meetings. This makes it the ideal space for teams to connect, pitch, plan, report and innovate without incurring costs.

Why is it free to use?

The Lab was officially opened in spring by Guildford MP Zoe Franklin and is funded as part of a national initiative to support the UK space sector.

It is the only meeting space at Surrey Research Park available for use by non-community members and is open to all UK-based space companies, regardless of whether they are Park tenants.

• Large interactive touch screens and virtual canvas with full connectivity capabilities, enabling seamless delivery of meetings and ideal for business support sessions, capability demonstrations and development workshops.
• Video conferencing licenses and professional webcams to run high-quality webinars and engage the community.
• Virtual Reality Headsets for demonstrations of space capability (1-on-1 or at events) such as our bespoke VR demonstrations.
• High-speed internet connectivity

Plus, free on-site parking is available for attendees and catering and hospitality can be arranged through The Hub on the Park Café, located in the Surrey Technology Centre.
