My name is Mandy, and I’m the co-founder of Ecobiz, a startup born out of a shared passion for helping small and medium-sized businesses navigate sustainability and ESG planning.

Alongside my cofounders Chris and Angela, I have had the privilege of growing Ecobiz with the support of SETsquared Surrey.
After careful thought this year, we have decided to pause development of our digital platform. But this is not a step back. It is a strategic pivot. One of the biggest lessons we have learned is knowing when to pause, reflect, and realign.
Ecobiz was built to make sustainability easier to understand and act on. Through research, pilot projects, and working directly with businesses, we have seen a real need for this kind of support. We have delivered successful projects, generated revenue, and gained valuable insights. Most importantly, we have grown as founders.
SETsquared Surrey has played a huge role in our journey. From shaping our business model to connecting us with expert mentors and a vibrant founder community, the support has been incredible.
While we are pausing the digital side of Ecobiz, our consultancy work continues. We’re still passionate about helping businesses become more sustainable. And we would love to share what we’ve learned with other SETsquared or SWEN (Surrey Women Entrepreneurs Network) members working on ESG and climate solutions.
