More about the Hub on the Park Café


The Hub on the Park Café is Surrey Research Park’s café for tenants, visitors and the wider public .

Open Monday to Friday, it serves a delicious range of hot and cold food, including breakfasts, lunches, salads and soups, cakes and pastries, and has a comprehensive drinks offering of speciality coffees, hot and cold beverages, smoothies and protein shakes.

Where to find us:

The Hub on the Park Café is located in the Surrey Technology Centre, 40 Occam Road, Guildford, Surrey, GU2 7YG.

Parking

Customers for the Hub on the Park Café should park in the bays in front of the Surrey Technology Centre.
On arrival, please report to reception to collect a parking permit to display in your vehicle.

Coming Soon – Cauli Cups: Enhancing Sustainabilty

As part of Surrey’s commitment to sustainability, we’re delighted to introduce Cauli Cups to our cafés across campus.

Cauli is a programme to replace single-use cups. Simply scan the QR code on the reusable cup, enjoy your coffee and return the cup to any café on campus within five days to use it for free.

Borrowing a Cauli cup is completely free, but it must be returned within five days or a £5 charge will apply.

From Monday 5 January 2026, you will no longer be able to purchase coffee in a single use cup at any of the cafés on campus – including Surrey Research Park.  Please bring your own cup or use a Cauli Cup.

Sustainably

Sustainability is a core priority for the Hub on the Park Café team and the University of Surrey’s Campus Services Catering.

Ingredients are sourced from local suppliers, wherever possible, and use compostable and biodegradable packaging, where appropriate.

The Hub team also offer a choice of vegan foods and meticulously plan menus and food orders to minimise leftovers and waste.
