Join for a relaxed Lunch & Learn session in the SETsquared Surrey Incubator, hosted by legal and tax experts from BDO and DMH Stallard. This informal event is designed for startup founders and early-stage teams who want to better understand the legal and tax essentials of fundraising and scaling a business.

We’ll kick off with a short introduction, followed by a session on fundraising. Learn how to structure investment deals, navigate tax-efficient schemes like EIS and SEIS, and position your business to attract investors.

The second session will focus on managing a growing business. We’ll cover registrations, cash flow, team incentives (including share schemes), legal and tax compliance, and how to make the most of growth incentives like R&D tax credits and Patent Box. We’ll also touch on international expansion.
