On Monday 12th November, the Diocese of Guildford hosted a short act of remembrance and commemoration to mark 100 years since the end of the hostilities that took place during World War One.
The Surrey Research Park was the setting as attendees gathered at Park Café on Occam Road at 10:45 before a two-minute silence at the lake by Alan Turing Road at 11:00.
In anticipation of the event, attendees were encouraged to email the Diocese with the names of known people that fought in the conflict for inclusion in the service.
Surrey Research Park would like to thank the Guildford Diocese and everyone involved in the remembrance event for the service.
