The Centre for Environment and Sustainability is now offering its continued professional development (CPD) modules to businesses at Surrey Research Park at a reduced rate, recognising the growing commitment our businesses are making to environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors.
The modules are designed to help organisations integrate sustainability into decision making, minimise their environmental impact and actively work towards a global sustainable future.
The Centre for Environment and Sustainability, a department of the University of Surrey, is an internationally acclaimed centre of excellence on sustainable development.
The modules include:
- Ecological Economics
- Environmental Law
- Environmental Science and Society
- Foundations of Sustainable Development
- Life Cycle Thinking and the Circular Economy
- Sustainable Development Applications
- Life Cycle Assessment
- Social and Environmental Responsibility
To ensure the most appropriate training is delivered to you and your staff, we build your traning package via a series of meetings between our subject experts and our CPD team. For further information, please contact Diedre Richardson on [email protected]
The modules can be taken as standalone or as part of building up to a certificate, diploma, or master’s degree.
The Centre for Environment and Sustainability CPD training draws on sustainability specialists from all backgrounds (engineering, sociology, psychology, natural sciences, business studies etc) who combine their specialist insights with broader knowledge of sustainability.
The modules incorporate a host of external professional speakers from industry, non-governmental organisations and government.
