Surrey graduates team up at Cressive DX

Surrey Research Park tenant Cressive DX is a pioneering hybrid agency and consultancy delivering innovative digital marketing solutions. With the exception of Founder Richard Game, all Cressive employees are University of Surrey graduates.

The company works closely with the University, employing third year undergraduate placement students, MBA placement students and interns. Richard is also a guest lecturer at the University, which enables him to share his digital marketing insight and gain access to the University graduate talent pool.

Working with CMOs and Heads of Digital who struggle to find return on investment in SEO, the organisation specialises in web based reporting and fixing big problems in big websites. Cressive DX is always seeking highly skilled digital marketeers. Richard Game, comments: “We look to employ exceptional people with diverse skills and have a wealth of talent on our doorstep. When Richard started Cressive DX he knew growing the business would be intense and wanted to be based in an environment with like-minded entrepreneurs. He also wanted to benefit from the close links between Surrey Research Park and the University of Surrey to ensure access to high calibre graduates.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT CRESSIVE DX THAT APPEALS TO UNIVERSITY OF SURREY GRADUATES?

One of Cressive’s graduate employees is Muhammad Ali, who completed a MSc in Marketing Management at the University of Surrey in 2018 and joined Cressive DX shortly after. Ali comments, “I was initially attracted to study in Surrey for the course, the beautiful campus and its proximity to London. On graduation I was delighted to join Cressive DX and work in exactly the right niche for me – mixing marketing and technology. What most appeals is how Cressive DX builds its own in-house software and tools, which gives capabilities other marketing teams cannot replicate. This gives us an edge.”

As a start-up Cressive DX’s priority was to minimise costs and have flexibility. Being located on Surrey Research Park enables the company to grow without changing location. Ali adds, “There’s lots of companies of all sizes on the Surrey Research Park and this gives opportunities to socialise and meet other people working in similar industries or roles.
