Opportunity to access PhD students for market and business development for free

Surrey Business School is offering companies at Surrey Research Park another chance to access the brightest brains and business mentors to help enhance their business research and development with its latest initiative, Impact through problem solving.

The five-day on-line workshop commences on Monday 19th October and offers businesses the opportunity to work with doctoral students and early career researchers from a range of difference disciplines and subject areas.

Business participation in the workshop is free and only requires a few hours of your time. The deadline to register your interest is the 10th October.

Surrey Business School ran a similar project with many of our tenants in summer 2019 and it was extremely well received. Key differences in this workshop is that the students are more highly qualified as doctoral students and the time required for the participating businesses is reduced, with only a few hours of your time required for this workshop.

Through working with practitioners, mentors and academics from Surrey Business School, over the course of the workshop, students will make a positive contribution to businesses by
identifying the origin, causes and implications of core business problems and challenges and then develop viable solutions.
