Businesses at Surrey Research Park are invited to the first event of this new series hosted by the Surrey Centre for Cyber Security.
The first event will take place on Tuesday 16 March, 4:00-5:30pm and look at ‘how the pandemic has changed the face of cyber security”.
Key speakers include:
Giles Chamberlin, Co-founder and CTO of Pexip, a leading innovator in video collaboration, will be highlighting the security considerations that need to be addressed as more organisations transition to video and other online collaboration tools as part of long-term remote working
Eerke Bolten, Professor of Cyber Security at De Montfort University will talk about the security and privacy implications of track and trace applications and the lessons learned from the competing implementations used in 2020
Professor Alan Woodward at University of Surrey will talk about the implications of the Solarwinds attack, examining the growing use of aggregations of attack tools, compromising of cloud services and supply chain attacks
A Q&A session will follow the presentations to address questions and insights from the audience.
