KEATH.ai, a University of Surrey spinout and active member of SETsquared Surrey, has been selected by Jisc to take part in its national AI in Assessment Pilot.
Jisc is the UK’s not-for-profit digital, data, and technology agency for education and research. Originally known as the Joint Information Systems Committee, it now plays a central role in supporting digital transformation across the UK’s higher and further education sectors.
The year-long pilot brings together universities and colleges from across the country to explore how artificial intelligence can support fair, scalable, and efficient approaches to marking and feedback. KEATH.ai is one of only 3 platforms selected for the initiative, which will evaluate how AI tools can be responsibly integrated into academic workflows.
KEATH.ai’s Human-in-the-Loop AI platform is designed to assist educators by reducing workload and improving feedback processes, whilst maintaining academic integrity. Through the pilot, the company will collaborate with educators, researchers, and institutional leaders to assess the potential of AI in supporting high-quality assessment practices.
