The Surrey Research Park will be holding a journalist workshop ‘How to make your company famous’ on Wednesday 22nd May 2019 in the Surrey Technology Centre.
The workshop led by Jon Card, a highly regarded freelance journalist, media trainer and public speaker, will lift the lid on how you can get publicity for your business. Jon has written for The Guardian, Daily Telegraph and The Times and interviewed over 1000 entrepreneurs and business leaders from Silicon Valley tech giants and Dragons’ Den investors to the heads of major brands and high street heroes.
Designed for businesses looking to improve their own media relations and/or better communicate with stakeholders such as investors, partners and prospects, Jon will be revealing time-honoured storytelling techniques and media strategies used by leading entrepreneurs to capture the attention and imagination of audiences.
His interactive session will help you tell your story in a succinct and compelling way as he details how the press selects stories for publication.
The workshop will be held 12-2pm in meeting room 8, then a session from Jon Card, followed by a Q&A and the opportunity to gain direct feedback from Jon.
The event is now to full capacity but we will be running events like this in future so please keep a look out.
