KEATH.ai, an innovative SETsquared Surrey member company, based at Surrey Research Park, is setting new standards in educational assessment through its use of artificial intelligence.
Co-founded by experienced educator Imran Ali-Farzal, the business is dedicated to creating bespoke solutions that enhance assessment for learning, offering real benefits to both teachers and students.
At the centre of KEATH.ai’s success is the KEATH Tool Hub, a purpose-built platform powered by its own large language model. Unlike general AI systems, KEATH.ai is designed specifically for analysing educational content and delivering actionable feedback. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience in education, Imran recognised the need for targeted assessment tools that address the unique challenges faced by educators and has been instrumental in shaping the company’s vision.
Support and Future Ambitions
KEATH.ai’s flagship product was launched at the House of Lords in December 2023, a milestone that marked the company’s emergence as a key player in the sector. The event attracted the attention of influential figures in education, helping the business establish over 25 partnerships with universities and other organisations across five continents committed to transforming the way assessments are conducted.
The University of Surrey and SETsquared Surrey have been pivotal to the company’s journey. Looking ahead, KEATH.ai plans to expand its focus to schools, complementing its work with universities and examination boards.
