Surrey Research Park, a world-class 70-acre science & technology park, owned by the University of Surrey (UoS) is searching for a placement year student to join the marketing team.
The Park is home to around 170 businesses from start-ups to multinationals, with an immense impact contributing almost £620 million gross value added for the UK economy.
The management team at Surrey Research Park are responsible for not only delivering a first-class business service to tenants but ensuring optimal and strategic business growth and resilience for the successful future of the Park, driving partnerships between tenants, the University of Surrey and third-party organisations. The role holder will support the delivery of the marketing strategy.
You will be joining at an exciting period of change and growth. Under a backdrop of a rapidly changing sector and new leadership, this position represents a great opportunity for placement students looking for an all-encompassing marketing role within an entrepreneurial and innovative community.
The successful candidate will have:
- Good relationship management and interpersonal skills as they will be working with a wide variety of different stakeholders
- Promising copywriting skills
- Confidence to handle a diverse workload, and the ability to multi-task
- Aptitude for event management
- Strong attention to detail
