Senior Electrical Engineer – Job Specification

Role Overview:
This is an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a small, fast-growth team delivering exciting projects a tthe forefront of the UK’s net zero energy transition. 3ti is a growing company – we want you to grow with us as a crucial part of our professional project delivery and maintenance team.

You will be involved with surveying potential sites, followed by the installation, commissioning and maintenance of our
combined Solar PV / EVCP / BESS technologies across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Surveying of the electrical infrastructure of potential new sites.
• Specifying and arranging preparatory site works.
• On-site installation and commissioning of new units.
• Operation & Maintenance duties at installed sites including fault-finding and resolution, annual inspections, upgrades and testing.
• Planning and implementing methodologies and procedures within your field of expertise for the benefit of the
• business.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance processes, quality checks and RAMS.
• Understanding and working to electrical standards in all areas, including BS7671, and relevant codes of practice
• (COP), British (BS) and European (EN/CE) standards in all areas.
• Contributing to the ongoing technical design and development of our combined Solar / EVCP / BESS technologies.
• When required, assist in other duties as required at our manufacturing sites or company offices.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

• A minimum of 10 years’ electrical experience within the commercial and industrial sectors, working with three-phase supplies and equipment.
• BS7671 18th Edition qualified to include Inspection & Testing
• Conversant in ENA processes and obtaining DNO connections using G99 and/or G100 solutions
• AM2E and SSSTS
• Experience of Commercial Solar PV & EV Charge Point installations
• Experience installing networking & communication equipment – Ethernet, cellular, WiFi
• Proficiency in Office 365
• ECITB Card
• DBS Clearance
• The right to live and work in the UK with a clean UK driving licence
