Project Manager NIHR Partnership Grant University of Surrey

The School of Health Sciences at the University of Surrey are seeking a pro-active, self-motivated and highly organised team player to provide research project manager support to a friendly team led by academics.
This is a fixed-term post for up-to 3 years with a possibility of extension to 5 years. Ideally full-time. Based at the University of Surrey in Guildford, some hybrid working is possible.
The successful applicant will coordinate a large and complex £5million National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR)-funded research project focused on improving the wellbeing of the UK healthcare workforce. With the NHS facing significant staff shortages, this study aims to help healthcare professionals thrive at work and continue delivering excellent patient care.
About you
The successful applicant requires a flexible and proactive approach with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will also have strong problem-solving and leadership skills, with the ability to plan, adapt, think strategically, and influence stakeholders while ensuring continuous improvement and effective project delivery.
