Microbiology/Biology Graduate Campden BRI
Campden BRI provides science, technology and innovation support to the food and drink industry. Their Microbiology teams test for viruses and pathogens in food & drink, testing the finished product and throughout the manufacturing/ supply process and offer consultancy work.
Position

- We also give a great grounding in the overall business with short secondments to operating units & commercial areas- to ensure you get the most knowledge and insight possible.
- Practical Microbiology laboratory work on research and contract studies including sample receipt, sample analysis, plate counting, and results calculation.
Requirements
- If you are a dedicated graduate with a minimum 2:1 degree in Microbiology or Biology.
- Experience of using your initiative and the ability to take responsibility (evidenced by volunteering, extracurricular activities, work).
- Interest in food & drink microbiology.
- Experience/knowledge of working with spoilage organisms e.g. Pseudomonas, yeasts and moulds, lactic acid bacteria including knowledge media, incubation times and temperature requirements.
