Microbiology/Biology Graduate Campden BRI

Campden BRI provides science, technology and innovation support to the food and drink industry. Their Microbiology teams test for viruses and pathogens in food & drink, testing the finished product and throughout the manufacturing/ supply process and offer consultancy work.

We also give a great grounding in the overall business with short secondments to operating units & commercial areas- to ensure you get the most knowledge and insight possible.
Practical Microbiology laboratory work on research and contract studies including sample receipt, sample analysis, plate counting, and results calculation.

Requirements

If you are a dedicated graduate with a minimum 2:1 degree in Microbiology or Biology.
Experience of using your initiative and the ability to take responsibility (evidenced by volunteering, extracurricular activities, work).
Interest in food & drink microbiology.
Experience/knowledge of working with spoilage organisms e.g. Pseudomonas, yeasts and moulds, lactic acid bacteria including knowledge media, incubation times and temperature requirements.
