Help establish AI collaborative hotspot at Surrey Research Park

In response to the Government’s recent National AI Strategy,  the University of Surrey is launching the Institute for People-Centred AI to bring together Surrey’s core AI-related expertise with companies across engineering, physical, social and health sciences.

The Government is committed to making the UK a global centre for the development, commercialisation and adoption of responsible AI. The National AI Strategy builds on the UK’s strengths but also represents the start of a step-change for AI in the UK, recognising the power of AI to increase resilience, productivity, growth and innovation across the private and public sectors.

By working with businesses, the Institute for People-Centred AI aims to establish Surrey and the surrounding area as an AI hotspot for collaborative innovation; attracting government investment and creating a nurturing and thriving AI ecosystem.

To ensure the success of this Institute’s agenda, the University is reaching out to companies using AI technologies and software, large and small, to better understand the real-world challenges faced by your teams to align the research of the Institute with the needs of industry.
