Back with an all-new format, the SETsquared Surrey Entrepreneurs’ Programme will take you from idea to validated, pitch-ready proposition faster than you can say “Lean Start-up”! This is a two-part course led by our Entrepreneurs in Residence, who are seasoned experts in supporting high-tech, high-growth start-ups.
Part 1
Part one is an intensive deep-dive into creating a value proposition that can resonate with real early-adopter customers.
Over two-and-a-half intensive days of training and group discussion, business founders will focus on developing a business offer that resonates with real customers.
You’ll learn how to test, validate and pivot quickly and cheaply from your first idea to an idea that works. You’ll connect with a peer group of other company founders, sharing ideas and experience and getting feedback at every stage. Finally you’ll present your developed opportunity to a friendly panel of external business investors and mentors, who’ll give you honest and constructive feedback on what you’ve built so far.
Part 2
Part two is a mentor-supported project over four weeks, in which you’ll be taught how to research the problems, ambitions and requirements of real early-adopter customers – then go and speak to ten of them and bring back your findings for a deep-dive feedback session at the end of the programme.
There is absolutely no substitute for getting out there and talking to real customers, so we make sure you have the know-how and support you need to discover your first customers’ highest-priority needs and match your product idea to a genuine, validated market opportunity.
Reasons to attend
Put these two parts together – understanding the value proposition for your solution and understanding the problem you’re solving from your customer’s perspective – and you have the solid platform from which to build your business and product development strategy. You’ll hear not only from our in-house experts at the SETsquared Surrey business incubator, but also from alumni business founders who have launched and scaled successful technology products within the incubator.
Programme Dates (you must be able to attend all sessions)
