Cut Through the Complexity of Business Sustainability Goals

Surrey’s Sustainable Business Network and author of WWF’s Sustainable Office Guide, Lauren Wiseman, join forces on an event to help businesses cut through the complexity of building sustainability goals.

This event on 17th October 12-1.15pm at Zero Carbon Guildford, will see Lauren introducing the themes of her book, helping to break down a complex set of challenges which many SMEs find overwhelming.

She will discuss ways to get maximum return from sustainability efforts, and how to not let perfection be the enemy of progress.

Businesses attending will join a roundtable discussion with local SMEs about shared challenges in hitting sustainability goals, training for devising a carbon management plan, and a Q&A with highly experienced individuals who have countered some of these issues.

Participants can also find out about financial mechanisms to support their business sustainability journey, such as LoCASE match funding up to £20,000, and non-financial support through offers such as the Knowledge Transfer Partnership and Innovation Vouchers scheme at the University of Surrey.
