The winners will be announced at the Surrey Chamber of Commerce’s Awards ceremony on 21st November at Epsom Downs Racecourse and will be presented by broadcaster and comedian Mark Dolan.
The Large Business of the Year award recognises local businesses with an annual turnover of over £5 million, who demonstrate a healthy financial performance and a strategic plan for growth.
The Chamber Member of the Year award recognises members who have been actively engaged with the local business community. Successful entries will have demonstrated a dedicated commitment to their team, delivered outstanding service and have a strong plan for sustainable performance.
Malcolm Parry, CEO of Surrey Research Park, comments: “Surrey Research Park is a big business success story. Throughout its history, the growth of Surrey Research Park has been substantial but organic. We are an agile and commercial organisation, constantly striving to offer our tenant businesses added value. We nurture developing companies by sharing the risk in offering short term contracts. In addition, we provide outstanding wider support with our business incubation and scale-up partners, as well as collaborative initiatives with the University of Surrey. As a result, our positive impact on the business and wider community is immense, helping encourage inward investment and giving businesses the opportunity to successfully grow on the Park. We look forward to the awards ceremony and meeting the other finalists.”
