Energy and Environmental Working Group

Surrey Research Park’s recent sustainability survey reveals resounding recognition of the importance of energy and environmental targets.

In addition, nearly all respondents want the Park to form a Sustainability Working Group to share knowledge and identify opportunities for collaboration.

Headline results reveal:

Results are categorised by businesses in Surrey Technology Centre (STC) or throughout Surrey Research Park (SRP). The survey was completed from companies of all sizes, covering all sectors and representing almost every building.

Given the importance of sustainability, the team at Surrey Research Park anticipated a large demand for a Sustainability Working Group. Nevertheless, the team is delighted in the strong support for such an initiative and has acted quickly to set it up.

The Working Group’s inaugural virtual meeting has been set for 28th June at 1pm.

Surrey Research Park is committed to creating a sustainable environment for its businesses and the results, along with ongoing 1-1 discussions with tenants, will help inform Surrey Research Park’s energy and environmental plan due to be ready in Autumn.
