Surrey Research Park hosted a tour for University of Surrey students in November. The initiative was launched at Surrey’s Careers fair for students who were enthusiastic to learn more about the Park and our unique innovation ecosystem. 21 students joined the tour while nearly a hundred students were interested, paving the way for more tours in the future.
The Park’s E-shuttle transported students to and from the University before they were taken on a walk around the Park to discover the many companies on site. Students were enthusiastic, asking questions and expressing interest in connecting with companies that matched their research interests which vary from Space engineering to biomedical science, animal health, law and digital marketing.
They then joined our current placement student network for lunch and a Q&A session, sharing tips on job hunting, CV writing, and interviews and were wholeheartedly grateful for the opportunity.
If you would like to meet these eager young people, and many more highly skilled researchers, please register to attend our PG Researcher Showcase 30th November: https://lnkd.in/e7hU8wNC
